Roger Davis, Chairman

Roger has had a distinguished career having managed and chaired major businesses both in the City of London and Asia Pacific. He joined the board of Barclays in 2003 as CEO of UK Banking, responsible for all retail and business operations in the UK. He is now Chairman of Gem Diamonds and a non-executive Director of Experian Group and Aero Inventory. Educated at Oxford University, Roger also enjoyed a 12-year career in the British Army.

Neil Cosgrove

Neil is a Managing Director of D. E. Shaw & Co. (UK) Ltd. and the Portfolio Manager for the D. E. Shaw group's non-US convertible securities portfolio. Prior to joining the firm Neil worked at DKB International plc after attaining a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from St Catharine's College, Cambridge.

Nigel Frudd

Nigel is the Financial Services Partner at Rosenblatt Solicitors, a leading international law firm. Over 25 years he has built up in-depth knowledge and experience of the life assurance, pensions and investment industry both in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Rosenblatt, Nigel held senior management roles at Scottish Amicable, Prudential Corporation and St. James's Place Capital.

Edward Giera

Ed is Managing Director at JPMorgan and heads up the firm's Global Pensions Advisory business. He also chairs the firm's Fiduciary Investment Management Committee and is a member of the Reputation Risk Committee. Ed has a BS in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania.

Oliver Hemsley

Oliver is the founder and CEO of Numis Corporation, one of London's leading investment banking and institutional stockbroking firms. Prior to founding Numis, Oliver was a Marine Underwriter at Lloyd's.

Laurence Heyworth

As well as being a founder of Life Trust Holdings, Laurence is a non-executive director of Aero Inventory and Managing Director of Look and Learn. Between 1980 and 2000 he worked for Robert Fleming, the investment bank, in various positions including Head of European Capital Markets.

Ian McGillivray

Ian joined RBS Equity Finance in 2002 as Chief Operating Officer to help establish what is now the principal investment activity of Royal Bank of Scotland. Ian has also worked in strategy consulting with OC&C and holds a Bachelor of Science degree attained at Trinity College, Cambridge.
